Only because of people like them, the world is still alive .....a heart touching real life incident...
The thing is.... there is a family. Parents are doctors...and they had a son named Jithenthran.
On 09/24/2008, he took his father's bike for seeing his friend and while return he met with an accident.
The people who are there know him and admitted him at chengelpattu hospital. Then they informed his parents and they took him to Teynampet Apollo hospital.
There the doctors examined him and said that his brain has lost all his senses and there is no way to give him life. Without controlling the sadness the parents understood the fact and they decided to donate his organs to the people.
First, his eyes were given to Sankara nethralaya, then his kidney was given to Apollo hospital for transplantation and atlast here comes the final everheard miracle. They decided to give his heart to a 6 year old boy who needs it. So they verified and at last found that the boy is struggling for life at Cherians heart foundation, Chennai.
But within 30mins that heart should be transplanted; They need to go 20kms and in Chennai traffic and doubted whether it will happen. Then the doctors called traffic police and asked their help and they prepared the ambulance with A/C. So fastly they removed the heart from their son and kept in an ice box and runned towards the ambulance.
When they came out the boy's father saw that ice box and cried like anything. The doctor who carried tht box ran like anything that he didn't even see the ambulance which is waiting outside and he entered the police car which was waiting. He said to the person to just go to Cherian hospital soon. The person who was standing near the car was the Assistant Commissioner and he without seeing his status and jumped to drivers seat and drove the car with full speed.
Every signal traffic got alert and left way for this car and at last within 15mins the heart was given to the doctors in Cherian hospital and it was transplanted to the small boy. Really heart touching....
Do u know the meaning of the name of the boy who died....
His name is Jithenthran - a person who will steal other's heart..............Yes , now he has stole everyone's heart.....
Really ... hats off to the parents ...

How to Improve Your Memory & Exercise Your Brain
Everyone can take steps to improve their memory, with time and practice most people can gain the ability to memorize seemingly impossible amounts of information. Whether you want to win the World Memory Championships, ace your history test, or simply remember where you put your keys, this article can get you started. Scientists believe that exercising your brain can create a `cognitive reserve' that will help you stay sharp as you age.
1. Convince yourself that you do have a good memory that will improve. Too many people get stuck here and convince themselves that their memory is bad, that they are just not good with names, that numbers just slip out of their minds for some reason. Erase those thoughts and vow to improve your memory. Commit yourself to the task and bask in your achievements — it's hard to keep motivated if you beat yourself down every time you make a little bit of progress.
2. Keep your brain active. The brain is not a muscle, but regularly "exercising" the brain actually does keep it growing and spurs the development of new nerve connections that can help improve memory. By developing new mental skills—especially complex ones such as learning a new language or learning to play a new musical instrument—and challenging your brain with puzzles and games you can keep your brain active and improve its physiological functioning.
3. Exercise daily. Regular aerobic exercise improves circulation and efficiency throughout the body, including in the brain, and can help ward off the memory loss that comes with aging. Exercise also makes you more alert and relaxed, and can thereby improve your memory uptake, allowing you to take better mental "pictures."
4. Reduce stress. Chronic stress, although it does not physically damage the brain, can make remembering much more difficult. Even temporary stresses can make it more difficult to effectively focus on concepts and observe things. Try to relax, regularly practice yoga or other stretching exercises, and see a doctor if you have severe chronic stress.
5. Eat well and eat right. There are a lot of herbal supplements on the market that claim to improve memory, but none have yet been shown to be effective in clinical tests (although small studies have shown some promising results for ginkgo biloba and phosphatidylserine) . A healthy diet, however, contributes to a healthy brain, and foods containing antioxidants— broccoli, blueberries, spinach, and berries, for example—and Omega-3 fatty acids appear to promote healthy brain functioning. Feed your brain with such supplements as Thiamine, Vitamin E, Niacin and Vitamin B-6. Grazing, eating 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 large meals, also seems to improve mental functioning (including memory) by limiting dips in blood sugar, which may negatively affect the brain.
6. Take better pictures. Often we forget things not because our memory is bad, but rather because our observational skills need work. One common situation where this occurs (and which almost everyone can relate to) is meeting new people. Often we don't really learn people's names at first because we aren't really concentrating on remembering them. You'll find that if you make a conscious effort to remember such things, you'll do much better. One way to train yourself to be more observant is to look at an unfamiliar photograph for a few seconds and then turn the photograph over and describe or write down as many details as you can about the photograph. Try closing your eyes and picturing the photo in your mind. Use a new photograph each time you try this exercise, and with regular practice you will find you're able to remember more details with even shorter glimpses of the photos.
7. Give yourself time to form a memory. Memories are very fragile in the short-term, and distractions can make you quickly forget something as simple as a phone number. The key to avoid losing memories before you can even form them is to be able to focus on the thing to be remembered for a while without thinking about other things, so when you're trying to remember something, avoid distractions and complicated tasks for a few minutes.
8. Create vivid, memorable images. You remember information more easily if you can visualize it. If you want to associate a child with a book, try not to visualize the child reading the book – that's too simple and forgettable. Instead, come up with something more jarring, something that sticks, like the book chasing the child, or the child eating the book. It's your mind – make the images as shocking and emotional as possible to keep the associations strong.
9. Repeat things you need to learn. The more times you hear, see, or think about something, the more surely you'll remember it, right? It's a no-brainer. When you want to remember something, be it your new coworker's name or your best friend's birthday, repeat it, either out loud or silently. Try writing it down; think about it.
10. Group things you need to remember. Random lists of things (a shopping list, for example) can be especially difficult to remember. To make it easier, try categorizing the individual things from the list. If you can remember that, among other things, you wanted to buy four different kinds of vegetables, you'll find it easier to remember all four.
11. Organize your life. Keep items that you frequently need, such as keys and eyeglasses, in the same place every time. Use an electronic organizer or daily planner to keep track of appointments, due dates for bills, and other tasks. Keep phone numbers and addresses in an address book or enter them into your computer or cell phone. Improved organization can help free up your powers of concentration so that you can remember less routine things. Even if being organized doesn't improve your memory, you'll receive a lot of the same benefits (i.e. you won't have to search for your keys anymore).
12. Try meditation. Research now suggests that people who regularly practice "mindfulness" meditation are able to focus better and may have better memories. Mindfulness (also known as awareness or insight meditation) is the type commonly practiced in Western countries and is easy to learn. Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital show that regular meditation thickens the cerebral cortex in the brain by increasing the blood flow to that region. Some researchers believe this can enhance attention span, focus, and memory.
13. Sleep well. The amount of sleep we get affects the brain's ability to recall recently learned information. Getting a good night's sleep – a minimum of seven hours a night – may improve your short-term memory and long-term relational memory, according to recent studies conducted at the Harvard Medical School.
14. Build your memorization arsenal. Learn pegs, memory palaces, and the Dominic System. These techniques form the foundation for mnemonic techniques, and will visibly improve your memory.
15. Venture out and learn from your mistakes. Go ahead and take a stab at memorizing the first one hundred digits of pi, or, if you've done that already, the first one thousand. Memorize the monarchs of England through your memory palaces, or your grocery list through visualization. Through diligent effort you will eventually master the art of memorization.

Silver Jubilee...
I celebrated my 25th Birthday yesterday. This time it was a little different than every year as it was the first birthday after marriage. My wife asked me to switch off my mobile at 11.30 pm on the previous day so that nobody could disturb us. Now don't start thinking dirty, as my wife is in Surat and I am in Bangalore, so we could talk only on the phone. Actually I have 2 numbers one of which is dedicated to her and the other one I had to switch off. She wanted to be the first one to wish me and she did so. Then we talked for a while as usual.
In the morning Mom called me and then after there was a sequence of calls from my in-laws and friends.
Got ready to go to office and took some 5 Stars and Dairy Milks for the colleagues.
I spent the day normally till evening 8.30 pm. After which we had decided to have a party at home. Friends gathered and I opened Johnnie Walker Gold Label whisky.
Johnnie Walker Gold Label is one of the best whiskies I've ever had. We finished the whole bottle amongst 6 people.
Had dinner, talked to my wife, she wished me once again before going to bed and that's how I celebrated my Silver Jubilee....

10 best ways to impress women
Source: ANI
No matter how much you hate it, but if you want to impress a woman, just help her carry those shopping bags.
And in case that's not enough to flatter your lady, below are 10 best ways that will surely make them fall for you, reports the Independent.
10 best ways to impress women
1. Ask questions: Over dinner, in a restaurant, nothing beats a good question or two.
For instance "How was your day?"
2. Stop asking questions: After you have asked enough questions, particularly the right ones, there will come a time when you should stop - when you're in bed together.
3. Call me back straightaway: Verbose, over-worked text messages just look keen and girly. Be a man and say it in 350 characters or don't say it at all.
4. Don't be tight: When it comes to small change, taxi fares, coffee money, tips and treats, penny-pinching is a huge turn off.
5. Carry bags: If they're heavy, please don't make a fuss about it, just do it.
6. Don't hide your appreciation: There is no girl alive who doesn''t want a priapic response to a new dress.
7. 'No' to: Clammy hands, grunting in public, salivating into earholes, 'sexy' tickling, jokes about love handles and twanging bras.
8. 'Yes' to: A firm touch and a smooth hand, a frank attitude to nudity, evident and matter-of-fact carnal enjoyment, and an attentive approach to often overlooked areas of the female body.
9. Talk about ex-girlfriends: Too much detail about ex-girlfriends is as harmful as not talking about them at all.
10. Criticism: Say what you like about her friends, work, flat, table manners.

Active on Sunday
After a long time I spent a Sunday much more productively. Got up in the morning, had breakfast, took shower and headed to office. I must say to have your home near office is always an added advantage.
These days I am catching interest in a lot of Open Source developments happening around the world. Primary interest for now is APACHE SOFTWARE FOUNDATION (ASF). ASF has got so many open source projects which can prove really very helpful to the software developers like me. Most of the projects on ASF are Java based and being a Java developer ASF is becoming my favorite place to visit.
At this point of time the projects in APACHE I am looking at are Roller and Turbine. If you are also a Java geek do take a look at www.apache.org, trust me you will like it.
Also, I am planning to buy a new laptop so I spent sometime researching on the internet about the different models from different companies that might suit my requirement and their prices. Currently I think Dell Inspiron or Dell XPS may turn out to be my final choice, I am not very sure though. Just leave your comments if you have any suggestion for me while choosing a laptop.

Chunchi Falls
Chunchi Falls is located in Karnataka near Kanakpura about 70 kms from Bangalore.
It was Saturday, and I had returned after playing cricket, had a shower and an omlette for breakfast and was relaxing and suddenly my friend bumped in with his wife and said we all are going to Chunchi Falls. The name Chunchi falls by itself was a little funny and so I was a little skeptical to go but as it was a weekend I had nothing else so great to do and so thought lets go and see whats in there. We started at about 1.30pm from my place from Kormangala and crossing the traffic of Bangalore we reached the Kanakpura Road. The road from Bangalore till Kanakpura is decent for about 40 kms and then you get a bumpy ride. The construction of road is going on at various places and the rain has made it all worse. After a drive through all this way for about 2.5 hours we reached a sign board which said that Chunchi falls is 5 kms to the left and straight road takes you to Mekedatu. We came to know from a tender coconut seller over there that we will get nothing to eat at Chunchi falls as it is a very remote a place, so we decided that we will go to Mekedatu and have something as most of us didn't had the lunch.
Mekedatu means "goat's leap", its a place where the water from river Kaveri flows in but its so shallow that we can cross the stream by just walking through it.
We took a kind of the lunch in Mekedatu and headed back to towards Chunchi falls. When we reached "THE" place what we found is there was nothing but a few cars of others who had nothing to do on the weekend just like us.
Chunchi falls is a beautiful place, a part of nature still not polluted by public.
To our bad luck what we found is that there was very little water to Fall. As such by the time we reached there it was about 6.30 and almost dark, so most of us stayed back but a few of us started tracking towards the falls. The place is good for tracking a little bit (about 1.5 km). The only mistake I did was that I wore a jeans and so it was a little difficult to pass on through the rocks, but I managed somehow. If you are planning to go make sure that you have proper tracks to wear to make it easier. We touched the water, took some pics and started the way back towards where our cars were parked. On the way back it was very dark but we managed somehow to track back. One thing to note is that to touch the water we have to go down so while coming back it is like climbing. Reached the car and started back.
We reached Bangalore by around 9.30pm, had the dinner at Meghna Biryani and reached home.
In all it was a good experience, for me atleast.
A few thing to remember while preparing for Chunchi Falls:
- Wear a proper attire for tracking.
- Carry some items to drink because it might dehydrate you a lot while tracking
- Try to reach the venue in the first half of the day so that you can enjoy it the most.
While coming back we decided that we will visit again for sure.
I will post the snaps as soon as I get it from my friend.

Cricket @ 7am on Saturday....
Everyone knows that Cricket is like a religion in India and I am no exception to it. If I speak frankly I am not a die hard cricket fan but I do like playing and watching it. I cannot play so well is another fact altogether.
Anyways so talking about cricket on Saturday, these days I have a new routine of playing cricket every Saturday morning with my colleagues. 20th September was just the second weekend of this routine. We play it on a small ground in Jayanagar 5th block. I must say it is a good exercise one gets by playing cricket in the morning with a lot of fun. You might think 7am on a weekend isn't it boring by trust me its worth it.
I just hope that we keep up with this routine for a long time.

My First Blog...
HI,
This is my first blog and I am really excited to write, but what shall I write. You must be knowing what happens when you are excited about doing something for the first time. I am writing a public blog for the first time and excitement is restricting my thoughts to flow.
I promise you that I will come up with some really interesting stuff and will not bore you in my later blogs.
Hope you come back soon to see the new stuff.
Regards
